PSA full name: Pressure Swing Adsorption, in Chinese: psa.

PSA is a new kind of gas separation technology, from late 60s to early 70s in foreign countries has developed rapidly, its principle is to use molecular sieve of different gas molecules "adsorption" performance between the gas mixture is separated, it is in the air as raw materials, the performance of a high efficient and selective adsorption of solid adsorbent on the selection of high nitrogen and oxygen to nitrogen and oxygen in air separation.

At present, widely used in nitrogen and oxygen in the field of carbon molecular sieve and zeolite molecular sieve. The separation of oxygen and nitrogen by molecular sieve is mainly based on the different diffusion rates of these two gases on the surface of molecular sieve. Carbon molecular sieve is composed of small pores, the pore size distribution is between 0.3nm ~ 1nm. The smaller diameter of the gas (oxygen) diffusion faster, more into the molecular sieve solid phase, so that the gas phase can be obtained by nitrogen enrichment. After a period of time, the molecular sieve adsorption on the oxygen balance, according to the characteristics of adsorption of gas adsorption capacity of different under the different pressure of carbon molecular sieve, reduce the pressure of the carbon molecular sieve adsorption to oxygen release, a process called regeneration. The pressure swing adsorption method is usually used in two towers in parallel, which is alternately pressurized adsorption and decompression regeneration.

Two, 99.999% high purity nitrogen purification system

The purity of nitrogen produced by pressure swing adsorption is 95%-99.9%, and the nitrogen purification equipment should be added if the higher purity nitrogen is needed. The output of PSA nitrogen 95%-99.9% nitrogen into nitrogen purification equipment, at the same time through a flowmeter adding hydrogen, trace oxygen in oxygen tower purification equipment in hydrogen and nitrogen in the catalytic reaction, to remove oxygen and water cooling condenser, separator in water, and then through the dryer drying depth (two adsorption alternate use: a drying tower adsorption drying water, another heating desorption drainage), high purity nitrogen, nitrogen purity can reach 99.9995% at this time, this is the 99.999% high purity nitrogen purification system of long yao machinery currently in production. At present, the production capacity of PSA PSA with high purity nitrogen is 3000m3n/h.
